Chorlton Tap: Manchester’s Best Vegan Roast
I love a roast dinner. So when going out for a roast, my standards are set high. So you can imagine my excitement when I discovered The Chorlton Tap. The Chorlton Tap offers the largest selection of vegan roast dinners in a relaxed pub experience with a robust selection of craft beers, real ales, and lagers. The pub has a cosy charm, making it perfect for cold autumnal days and a beer garden for those sunny Sundays. The Chorlton Tap serves a well-executed menu which always includes vegan options, complementing the drinks selection nicely. The food features roasts on a sunday, woodfire pizzas throughout the week, and even specially curated food tasting menus from around the world that always have a specific vegan menu.
Six By Nico: Vegan Nostalgia
The Six by Nico vegan Nostalgia menu presents an intriguing journey through familiar tastes and nostalgic experiences. However, at the end of the meal, I felt cheated, underwhelmed and even ordered myself a takeaway before I’d even gotten home. Especially after seeing other branches of Six by Nico serve the dishes correctly.
Sanskruti: Finest & Most Authentic Vegan Indian
With locations in both Liverpool and Manchester, Sanskruti offers authentic Indian vegetarian and vegan cuisine. I will admit right off the bat, this was our third time eating at a Sanskruti restaurant and every time I have been way too hungry to take photos.
Six By Nico: The Best of The Year
At the end of 2023, I visited Six By Nico to try their ‘best of the year’ six-course tasting menu. The menu consisted of their favourite dishes from all the different menus over the past 12 months coming together to create this final feast. My goodness, this was some of the best food I have ever eaten.
Rosa’s Thai: Vegan Drunken Noodles in Manchester!
So for the first time I visited Rosa’s Thai Restaurant in the Deansgate area of Manchester and I was absolutely blown away (both literally and metaphorically) by the drunken noodles.
Wagamama’s: Need I Say More
What can I say about Wagamama’s that hasn’t already been said before; it’s class! Asian food inspired by the flavours of japan, serving hot pots, ramen, donburi, teppanyaki, curries, the list goes on.
The Koffee Pot: My Favourite Fry Up in Manchester!
Part cafe, part taco bar. The Koffee Pot has been a staple of the Manchester food scene since 1978, serving up breakfasts and pints for 40 years in its home of the North Quarter.
